Aquitaine

One of my favorite French restaurants in Boston. Great atmosphere, great food, and good wine menu. During this Summer they have fantastic outdoor space for you to be outside and enjoy the food. They have a mix of typical French fare in addition to modern takes and offer both dinner and brunch menus on weekends. Definitely worth a try and enjoy!

A South Boston gem. My wife and I went there our anniversary. This place had amazing food and really great service. Really good steaks and duck along with the escarot.

Our server was very informative and treated us well for this special evening.

Excellent French cuisine near the south end. Been to Aquitaine several times and have not been disappointed any of those times. The duck dishes are prepared really well, and there's a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating.

Their dessert selection is full of rich dishes. The chocolate mousse was a favourite of ours. The only thing I'll mention to watch out for is the wait time for food, in the evenings at least, can take a while. The prices are also indicative of a nice French restaurant.

Regardless, looking forward to coming back here soon!

This restaurant has all of the charm of a Parisienne bistro. The food was absolutely superb. I had the duck, which was probably the best I have ever had. Their chocolate mousse was equally delicious. I also loved their version of an old fashioned. The only negative I would say is that there is a slight service fee for the kitchen staff, but that is because I believe the owner(s) should pay his/her/their staff a decent wage. I personally think tipping should be done away with, even if that means I pay more for my meal...but I digress. Visit this charming restaurant, which is located in a charming neighborhood, as you will not be disappointed!

We had a nice time, service was top class. The Onion Soup was superb - it has bone broth added which gave it a perfect touch. The rest of the food was good, not amazing. I like to see more variety in the wine list when I go to a french restaurant. Thank you for a nice evening.
