This place is great! Rad people, great food, good drinks and very welcoming atmosphere. You will not have a bad time here.
Nice little British pub near mass ave. I have not tried pasties before and this was my first time trying them. They reminded me of empanadas, with a crusty exterior and a filling of your choice. They have a wide vegetarian/vegan section and good selection of drinks as well.
Everything on the menu is wonderful! I have not had anything here I did not like. Some of the menu items are very hard to find or you just simply can't find anywhere else. They do such a great job with English / Irish food. Make sure you try the mushy peas. They are over the top! I love the beer selection oh, they have some fun stuff. You can tell they go out of their way to be different. I like that! When you're in there make sure you introduce yourself to the staff. A bunch of really great guys. After just a few visits they know you by name. I couldn't say enough about this place or the people. Make sure you try them out. I hope they open a new location downtown near South Station and Seaport. I think they would do really really well! Best luck guys and thank you for a wonderful product and a great time!
Cornish Pasty Co originated in Tempe, AZ, which is where I grew up. I was overjoyed when one opened in Boston. The environment is so warm and welcoming, and the owners and staff are terrific. The pasties are so delicious! They have a ton of different options, including vegan & vegetarian, so there's really something for everyone. The salads and soups are equally as good, and the desserts are to die for. They have a rotating cocktail menu with some unique drinks that never disappoint. The food is perfect for a freezing winter day, but I've found myself ordering chips & mushy peas when it's 90 degrees out. It can get a little on the louder side on the weekends, but the restaurant is small enough that it's never overwhelming. I recommend that everyone visits Cornish if you're in Boston, you won't regret it!
This place was awesome! Everyone was great and friendly and made this Midwestern feel like home. Strongly recommend this place as a must visit! Thank you Cornish pasty co.
