Amazing dinner as always in the north end. I got eggplant rollitini which was to die for. We all enjoyed our meals and a beautiful evening outside.
One of my top three favorite restaurants in the world (the others are Grill 23 Boston and Scales in Portland, ME). The food at Nico is amazing: try the softball-sized meatball. The service is always wonderful. My wife and I always sit at the bar, and the young woman there is absolutely fantastic, no matter how busy the restaurant is. Don’t miss this restaurant.
We ordered the pasta made inside of the wheel cheese. It was the most basic and expensive pasta I have ever had. The pasta comes cooked in cheese already from the kitchen and we get a bit more from the wheel cheese. They add only peper and a little oil in it. There is a lack of flavor. This dish is for Instagram/entertaining only, in my opinion. Super hard to find parking around there too. The restaurant has a nice vibe though and the staff is very nice. For the price and quality I am not sure if I would go back.
I recently went to the reopening of Nico’s! It was everything I think we all need and more after a long winter being stuck inside. It was clean, food was a amazing (as always) the staff was high energy! Just a great first night! Can’t wait to see what the Varano Group as in store for us this summer!
Friendly service , the waiters were attentive, and the hostess wonderful to us. And the food...every bite was delicious! Their freshly made pastas are the best we've ever eaten! The Fettucine Carbonara, and Rigatoni were absolutely perfect. Maybe the best Italian food we have ever eaten!
