Here is the best hotpot restaurant in Boston. The The restaurant atmosphere is good. For the service has been excellent, dirty dishes are quickly removed. Water is always filled. The broth is so flavorful. They have authentic Chongqing spicy broth (with spicy levels of 1/2/3) and mushroom broth, tomato broth. Overall, my favorite broth is the tomato and pepper pork broth. They also have a lovely bar with sweet desserts, fresh fruits, and some appetizers. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who looking for an authentic Hotpot. Qiaolin is not disappointed!
This was such a great last minute find for me and my family! Definitely make a reservation beforehand because it does get packed but super easy to. Probably the best hotpot I’ve had in Boston so far. Very fresh ingredients for decent prices. The interior is gorgeous and their sauce bar is clean with lots of variety. I also love how many non alcoholic beverages they have. Highly recommend.
The food is authentic. The broth for the hotpot is one of the best that I had tried in Boston. The portion of the food is generous compared to other hotpot restaurants. I especially love the drinks they made.
The restaurant is very busy during the regular meal hours. The environment is full of guests who are waiting to be seated. The environment doesn’t feel very relaxed for people who are eating.
Parking is extremely difficult. Drivers around there are aggressive. Be careful when trying to find a spot there.
We were both very full afterwards. A little surprise that the bill came much higher than we expected. For 2 people, we spent $140 for a meal.
This place is crazy busy! We got on the wait-list at 4PM around 40th in line and we got seated around 7PM. We tried to come here before and gave up waiting after 3 hours.
Now that that is out of the way: the taste was great. I eat exclusively spicy hot pot and we got a 2 chili pepper spicy pot. It's always a gamble if the level 2 is weak or not, but here it felt like a good scale.
We got the crispy pork stick that was really good, love the little bit of peppercorn in it.
For the actual hotpot, we added the fresh cut short rib (great quality!), one meter sliced beef, frozen tofu, napa cabbage, sliced lotus root, and fresh noodles. For two, that was plenty.
They also have a self service sauce bar that has a few small items like cherry tomatoes, spicy bean curd strips, etc. as well as green bean soup, white fungus soup, and some mango pudding(or puree).
As long as you plan well and get on the wait-list earlier, I think it's worth a visit 😄
Best Hot Pot in Boston!
Excellent customer service and ambiance. Very clean and well layout restaurant. The smoothest, tastiest broths and a huge selection of meat, tofu, seafood, veggies, that will make everyone happy. Also, a fantastic spread of authentic Chinese desserts and snacks! Limited parking, but plenty of street parking around the Allston area.
