Salty Dog Seafood Grille & Bar

Great seafood if you're near Faneuil Hall. Wait staff are friendly and helpful with suggestions. Portions were filling and for fresh seafood in Boston, the prices were good. Only downside would be that depending on any food allergies it can be very limiting on your choices.

Food was GREAT. The location allows for higher prices, because they know people will pay it. That doesn't mean it wasn't worth it. Their special Salty Dog beer was good, the food was fantastic, and the chowder was fine, the service was...personality driven. Would recommend.

I am very picky about calm chowder, and the Salty Dog did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious. A cup of that, a round of oysters, and some of the excellent fried calamari, and i was a very happy visitor. There are plenty of places to get good chowder in Boston, but i will be coming back here.

Came here for a lobster roll and it did not disappoint! Their rolls are cold (I guess theres hot rolls too? Idk I'm not from NE) and served with slaw and fries. You get a TON of lobster on the roll so it's worth the $20+ price tag.

I ended up sitting at the bar top outside on a gorgeous day and the service was great. Food came out quickly as well. I would recommend chilling here for a while and people watching in the square right outside the fence I. Quincy Market.

The service was great. We got the lobster roll and it was really good. They make theirs with butter instead of mayo which was different for me but a delicious different. Also the mixed drinks were really good.
