“We booked the Substation for our staff fun day/outing last July 29th. The venue was perfect for what we planned to do and it was accessible to public transport as well as to stores for us to buy supplies. It worked out to have Adams Park as our outdoor space for the venue. Laura Charles who was our contact person was very helpful in identifying possible vendors for our event and communicated with us every step of the way. They set it up as we have requested. We would recommend the place for any event. We had 60 people and space was still large enough to have an impromptu dance floor :)”

“So glad there’s a location open in Brighton. Staff is so friendly. Food was great. I only wish you could order the katsu with curry - seems like a missed opportunity there!”

“My favorite sushi restaurant in Boston. What I love about the sushi is that it’s high quality and always fresh. The portions is very fair and the price is fair for the quality that you get. This is my go to place when I’m craving high quality sushi. Favorite dishes are chirashi, avocado ball, and fried green tea ice cream.”

“Came here with my friends to check out the hype on the coreanos bowl. They had limited seats available, so we decided to get a takeout instead. Had to wait over 30 minutes to get our order, but it was worth the wait. Got the yang yum chicken, coreanos bowl, kimchi fried rice, and the tteokbokiki, and everything was satisfying. Tteokbokki and the kimchi fried rice were on par with what you would normally get at typical Korean restaurants around. Nothing special, but decent choices to get in the meal. The real standout was obviously the coreanos bowl. Topped with some magical sauce, it kept me going for more. The rice had a good amount of fatty flavor from the meat, and with the slice of the fried egg, it was a perfect bite. The yang yum chicken was also good and not too spicy. Highly recommend trying the coreanos bowl, but make sure to order ahead as they can get really busy in the evenings.”

“I love this place. I've gotten my usual. Large chicken burrito and including chips and salsa. Ingredients is always fresh and the food is always delicious. I feel like I can never get enough of their food. And yes, I will be back in the near future.”

“Naksan BBQ offers one of the trendiest Korean BBQ experience in Boston. My friends and I came here on a Friday for dinner and were impressed with the overall experience. Not only was it authentic but also food and the service was top notch even when compared to typical BBQ places in Seoul. We got the large pork combo, and it was enough between the three of us. Since they have a minimum order requirement for the meat orders, combo seemed like the best way to try different types of meat. Out of the meats we've tried, our favorites were their special cubed marinated pork belly, premium pork belly, and the pork jowls. Our server cooked everything for us from start to finish, so we didn't have to worry about the meats being overcooked. The soy bean soup and the egg soufflé on the side were also great, and I would highly recommend getting these if you're not going for the combos. We wrapped it all up with the classic Korean way - cold noodles. Both were unfortunately a bit too sweet for our taste, but they were still solid. Highly recommend checking them out if you're looking for an authentic Korean BBQ.”

“SURPRISINGLY GOOD!!! As many of you may know, the area, for the most part, the restaurants around the TD Garden venue without going to the North End only taste good after a few drinks. O.k. a lot of drinks, and that's if you can EVEN get in. This place had a great atmosphere with decent comfort food, a good menu selection, and fast service. The Taco Beef salad was delicious. We were In and out within 60 min. Making it a perfect spot for a quick bite prior to the start of our Celtics game😎 and will definitely go back.”

“I’ve been waiting a long time for a healthy salad/sandwich option in the North End! Pink Carrot’s inventive and health conscious menu includes delicious salads, bowls, sandwiches and even loaded sweet potatoes. You can tell they use fresh ingredients. The price may be on the higher side for the salads but the portion size compensates for it. I usually can get two servings out of one salad bowl. The goodness doesn’t stop there - the beverages are also amazing! The coffee concoctions and smoothies are some of the best I’ve had. To top it all off, they have all-natural dog treats from Boston’s own Polkadog Bakery, so my pup loves coming with me to pick up my order. Thank you Pink Carrot - you’re my new favorite casual eatery in Boston!”

“Surprising slice of pizza. Spoke with the cashier and asked how good the pizza. He responded and said “It was the best in the state”. I would have to agree. This is a good slice of pizza on the go. This may be the only pizza I get in MA but I can say it was the best. Great and friendly service”

“Large place so high changes of getting a table. Got the wine flight and it was good. The food was just very disappointing though. There is so much opportunity there but they don't deliver. Good place for drinks but wouldn't recommend having a meal there.”

“Had a cold beer at the stand-alone bar from Banners. Definitely modern, well lit, comfortable and clean. This is going to be a fun place to hang out, once the pandemic winds down. Probably best enjoyed on a night without any games at the Garden, for the first time.”

“I stumbled upon this little Italian cafe last week and was thrilled that they serve breakfast all day. I was on a short layover from the west coast so a fresh, cooked to order breakfast at noon really hit the spot. The best part of this little cafe is the people. The staff and the locals who came in and out seemed to truly care for each other like family. I enjoyed the experience so much that when I flew back into Boston this week I made the trek all the way from Copley Place to North End to try a hot sub for lunch. Once again I got a great meal, cooked to order at a decent price and was made to feel welcome by both the staff and the regulars. Can't wait to come back!”
