“Excellent high quality fresh Italian food. Quick service / friendly staff and quick food. A little more upscale than a regular dinner ($30+ per person) but will not burn a hole through your wallet! Great for celebrations or other occasions. I had my college graduation dinner here for a party of 4. I reserved in advance which was very convenient.”

“My mom and I recently ate here. I cannot say enough kind words!! AMAZING FOOD! Had lobster raviolis and LOVED it. True chunks of lobster meat in each ravioli. Delicious sauce. Also had limoncello martini which was truly phenomenal. Staff was BEYOND kind. Genuinely cared about our experience. Recommending to everyone!”

“Every time I visit Boston, or even close, I visit here. NEVER disappointed. Great great food and priced reasonable. Always fresh, cooked just right, and love the atmosphere. I do take Lyft as parking it tight and have mobility issues. Well worth it. Visiting Boston in 3 weeks and I'm making my reservation. Excellent..”

“The food was absolutely delicious, I had the braised beef with risotto and it was full of flavor. The vibe is very cozy and romantic, and it feels like a family owned and run place. The service was also great. And the forks are massive, I don't know why that has to do with anything but I wanted to mention it nonetheless. Come here for a date and fall in love with the food; falling in love with your date is optional.”

“The best Italian-American restaurant ever! I've been living in the North End for some time and I often dine at Bella Vista, the place is so welcoming and feels like home! Tony is the best!”

“Great Restaurant and, More Importantly, Great Service! We had dinner here for a reunion with a group of friends. Aside from the food which was great, the hospitality of the staff was exemplary. We were offered free drink shots just because we stated too long, I assume! Highly recommended.”

“This is hands down our favorite dinner restaurant in Boston. When we've visit, this is our go to place. This time we were on the second floor near a window and it was nice. Our server was fantastic and actually family member of the owners he said. Pro Tip: Order one dish for two people. If you really want to try two dishes, order both to be served but half of each dish to be put to go. The wine selection is superb here! Save room for dessert because their vanilla custard cannoli is amazing and better than any bakery in the area. You can skip appetizers and simply eat the breads because of the portions of the entrees. We have such a great time every time we visit this restaurant and recommend it to EVERYONE who asks us where they should eat dinner when in the area. Ready to return here anytime!”

“Little restaurant in the North End. This whole area has a great atmosphere. The food here was delicious. Prices were average or maybe a little higher I think for the area. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal.”

“UPDATE: Buffalo Chicken Pizza is back!!! This delicious small Buffalo chicken pizza 🍕 came out to $17 with tax. I called ahead and my order was taken immediately. Under 30 min turnaround time for a busy Friday night. Truly exceptional pick up process. They really got things moving like a well oiled machine. I’ll be back before you know if for sure! #1 for a reason. Original location. Bomb pizza.”

“This was basically the best dining experience I've ever had. The food was rich, authentic, delicious and varied, the atmosphere was on point, but somehow even more outstanding than that was the service. The waiter raised a bar on service that I didn't even know existed. I can't recommend Filippo highly enough and I'm 100% going back!”

“I came for the second time, still good dishes and the portion was generous enough. The service wasn’t as good as the first time though. To find a table come early or late in the afternoon. This is cash only but you’ll pay taxes too so is to be planed ahead.”

“They have a great knowledgeable and friendly staff. The food is excellent and the setting is a lovely home with multiple dining rooms, some overlooking a pedestrian plaza in the heart of the North End. What a wonderful dining experience. We ended up going there two nights in a row. Nice cocktails and wine list. I will recommend to anyone visiting Boston.”

“Restaurant was fine. Nothing was bad, but nothing was very special. All food and drinks were okay. Food was fine but didn’t match the higher price. Service was friendly, atmosphere was fine.”

“Ducali has my favorite pizza, amazing salads and sandwiches, great beers on tap and delicious wines. But I go back every week because the service is top notch. Marina and Max are friendly, attentive and make sure each meal is better than the last. The restaurant is clean, they have great specials and fantastic playlists. They also make the best espresso martinis. Recently they opened Cafe Ducali open 11-4, serving bold coffee and cappuccinos, delicious muffins and pastries. If you’re in the area at any time I highly recommend you stop in! Best of the best!”

“Food- 5 service- 4 location- 5 ambiance- 5. We stopped at Florentine cafe because reviews said that it had the best chicken marsala and lobster ravioli that someone had ever had. The food did not disappoint. The lobster ravioli was buttery and creamy, and absolutely delicious. The chicken marsala was delightful. The thin sauce was flavorful and accompanied by tasty mushrooms and prosciutto. The calamari wasn't the best I've had but it was still a good start, a lighter option -- breaded lightly and soft inside.”

“The place I miss most since moving from Boston. All of the food is worth the price and the wait. They’re not slow they’re just almost always busy because their food is so good. I wish I could get their Italian sub over night shipped to me in California.”

“Hidden gem off the busy streets of the North End. Ended up here after most of the places on Hanover had nothing available for a large party. Just happened to walk by and now this may be our new favorite Italian stop. The menu has something for everyone, the restaurant is beautiful and the appetizers are amazing and great for sharing. You have to try the fried Zucchini flowers with ricotta.”

“Place was amazing, steak bomb is great, almost too big to finish Edit: came back in 2020, can't recommend this place enough! Steakbomb good as ever, perfect size when split with the wife. One of the few truly 5* gems in my book of Boston.”

“I was here today on 5/8 for my birthday dinner with my friend and boyfriend everything from service to food was spectacular. It was worth the wait. Our server Kaileen and the rest of the team was really friendly with great hospitality. We were very satisfied with everything. I noticed I lost my ring after I went home and even though the place was packed, the team found my ring and kept it for me when till I was there. Thank you to your wonderful team and special thank you to Kaileen❤️”

“There's a reason I brought my spouse to Pomodoro: incredibly delicious food in a delightfully cozy atmosphere. Two things to note: Reservations are a must, and you should only come here if you're not impatient or in a rush. This is a place to relax and enjoy your time with your company while the tiny kitchen make your incredible meals from scratch.”
