“I'm not typically someone who writes reviews but WOW this place was exceptional. A true needle in a haystack find in downtown Boston. The service, the food, drinks, and atmosphere were all fantastic. I got the mac n cheese and my mom got the fish sandwich. Both were outstanding! The mac n cheese (pictured) was EASILY the best I've ever had. I cannot recommend it enough. This genuine Irish spot is outstanding for lunch or dinner. I cannot wait to go back to this fantastic restaurant.”

“This place is great. Friendly owners, no frills, just good food. I got a ham, egg, and cheese and opted for some of their house made bread. The result was delightful. The edges of the bread were crispy, but the inside was warm and steamy. It's the kind of breakfast sandwich you finish and actually feel like you've eaten healthy food and comfort food in one go. Looking forward to trying their lunch fare as well. Also, bonus points for handling Covid regulations with a bit of humor (see 2nd pic). ??”

When I got their roast pork, the meat was somewhat dry even with the sauce all over it. The pad see ew lacked a true burnt wok taste/flavor. “Food was exceptional and we went in right before closing, expecting that they would have closed the kitchen early. Every dish we tried was complex and an original take on such traditional dishes as a buratta, which I highly recommend, by the way. Drinks were great too. One of the best meals I had in Boston. Loved the chickpea fries! Good wine & beautiful ambiance & friendly service... Excellent if you have a break between trains and buses since South Station is a few blocks away. “Took the girlfriend out here for Valentines day for the first time. The staff was incredible. Our waiter knew the menu inside and out and was patient when she said she needed more time on 2 separate instances. The filet was fantastic and cooked to perfection. The clam chowder is second to none. The manager came by the table and visited for awhile. When he found out we were new to the area he ordered us free dessert. We will be back for sure!”

“This location is a short walk from my work so I go here almost every day. Due to my schedule, I am either one of the first customers after they open in the morning or in at night and no matter what time of day, the staff is always professional. This location can get crowded with tourists (or should I say, did, in the "before" times) but the quality never went down. The staff are great. I've gotten to know most of them and they are friendly and sometimes remember my "usual" even if I change it up a bit. I'd say for a Star Bucks it has a neighborhood feel. The location is small with limited seating inside and a few table outside and because of its size most people are in and out. Definitely my favorite Star Bucks in the area.”
