Kimball Farm Lancaster

Kimball Farm is a fun place to stop with the family. There is great selection of ice cream and food. Kimball Farm also offers an outdoor dining area that has a pleasant vibe. There is a country styled store with a coffee bar inside if your interested and shopping or a caffeinated pick me up.

In honor of National Onion Ring Day...yum! Great fish sandwich and haddock bites too! No room left for ice cream for me but my 2 guests were not to be denied! Best place for quality food and ice cream...generous servings at reasonable prices. Thank you Kimball's for not price gouging young families that just want a treat in the nice weather!

Kimball's has changed over the years. As locations have been added the quality and service has changed. The ice cream is very good and the portions are generous. The Kimball Special has been my favorite for over 40 years starting in the original Westford farm house location. Hasn't changed much fortunately.
The food was really good when they started but not so great anymore. Got the Captain's Seafood Platter and the size was very good but the food wasn't. Scallops, fish, shrimp and clams covered the plate. The clams tasted dirty, scallops and shrimp needed some seasoning but the fish was good. The fries were the best tasting with the Cole slaw next. They used to give you some watermelon with your meal but no more for your $34.
Kimball's is nice place to visit, don't expect great food, expect great ice cream.
Service is fair, mostly young staff is there to do just what they have too.

Visited for lunch on a sunny week day. Food was good and portion size was huge. We got the whole belly clam roll, fried scallops and the onions rings. All 3 was good and the best is the fried scallops. If you're going for lunch, be there early as the line start forming and gets real long.

Awesome place. Great ice cream, great food (best lobster rolls for 100 miles). Rating would be 5 star if they were a little faster serving. In fairness they are always very busy. Definitely worth the wait.
