Buckhorn Resort

This is a great little motel/restaurant rite off the snowmobile trail system in the UP of Michigan. They have gas as well. The ppl are extremely friendly and helpful. Coffee in the rooms and a restaurant with drinks and fantastic food. Make sure u make this stop on your ride, u wont be disappointed.

Food was well cooked, not a lot of variety, but everyone at the table was happy with what they ordered. Their angry bear sauce was a hit at our table. Also, the waitress was great and very helpful.

We stopped by for some lunch. The food was good, but service was a little slow. Our stuff was hot, but they weren't that busy when we stopped. Just a little lack luster.

Here for food only. Be clear how you want your steak cooked - like "charred rare" if you care. The beef is good and everything was excellent.
Staff pleasant and helpful. It was just a really nice experience. And if you're going to be up here, I encourage you to give the place a try. Based on the people that I saw and the parking lot and near the motel rooms, I would encourage you to investigate staying here as well. I have a camp near here so I'm never going to stay here, but it looks so neat and clean and the people staying here seem so happy that I think you'd do yourself a favor to look at this for a possible landing pad for summer or winter or fall or spring..

Great food, atmosphere and the rooms are clean, and the lodges are awesome. The food is great.This is my second year coming up and will keep this tradition going. Motorcycle friendly and a great spot to make as a home base. Located just north of NF 13 and close to H 58 which is an outstanding curvy ride and plenty of other great rodes to ride giving motorcycle enthusiasts a full weekend or even a weeks worth of great ride
