    We went on two different occasions while vacationing for a week in Alpena. First time I could of jumped across the bar and slapped the attitude off the bartender. What was otherwise a nice tavern bar/restaurant and good food, one person can ruin an experience. The return trip for takeout, a different bartender waited on my adult niece and I, and service was like night and day.

    Simply one fantastic place for comfort and a meal! A must place for to eat for the out-of-town or visitor! So impressed, it’s my choice every time I’m in the neighborhood!

    After long day of travel, stopped in for Sunday night dinner. Menu is extensive offering wide range of choices. List of draught beers is extensive. We choose Blue Moon and Widowmaker. Fish dinner BBQ d ribs were excellent. Atmosphere was relaxed and wait staff was efficient and jovial with all. Good pricing. Very good experience.

    Bartender, Jamie, was great. Acknowledged us as soon as we arrived. We sat at the bar area and ordered a drink first. She was very attentive but not pushy about ordering right away. We took our time ordered and the food was great and service better. Thanks Jamie
