Nick's Southside Country Diner

The waitress was good and friendly. Food was ok but incorrect for 2 out of 3 of us. My over medium well eggs were cooked incorrectly, one was runny and one was broke. Wrong items on wrong plates. Food was good. Mistakes were removed from the bill but it would have been better for the orders to be correct from the beginning. My previous visit was similar. I would eat here again.

First time visiting this establishment. My family is up here camping and we were looking for somewhere to get both lunch and breakfast. We found Nick' s and have it a shot. It is a cool old diner! A little dated and worn, but that just adds to the charm. It is not a big place, but there are a lot of booths and counter seating. There are also tables for two up front. There were five of us, and our server moved some tables together to accommodate our group. The service was excellent as our server was a hustler, covering the entire diner on her own! Breakfast is served all day, and they have both breakfast and lunch specials. Our group ordered everything from an omelette, a fried sampler platter, soup and sandwiches, and a pan pizza. The food came out correctly, as ordered and was delicious! They quality was excellent. Prices are also reasonable.

Great food and basic diner menu. No complaints with service or prices. The building shows its age though
