(March 13, 2023, 5:25 pm)Today we stopped in and got Beef barley soup and Ty’s Cobb salad. This is a peaceful environment with indie vibes. A healthy stop for a day in Alpena. Soups change throughout the week with the option of getting a bread bowl. They also have a variety of hot teas.

(November 16, 2022, 3:17 am)Great little lunch spot in the city center. It's grreat to have something beyond the usual stuff from all the chain food joints. I had a burrito that was Vietnamese inspired - great. Will be back here as a regular in the future.

(November 1, 2022, 5:06 pm)I have been hesitant to try Blue Moon because I loved the Take5 deli that was here previously. It was actually my favorite lunch spot in Alpena.
Well let me tell you that you shouldn't wait like I did because I just had an outstanding lunch. The turkey spinach artichoke on rye and a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup is a definite must!
I am pleased to say that I definitely have my new favorite lunch spot back! -
