“What an incredible restaurant! Excellent service all the way around. The owner came and chatted with the table asking about our experience and chatted for a bit. They had a very extensive menu at fair prices with a home cooking done very well feel. Owned by a Michigander for Michiganders. The building renovations are worth dining here. What a top notch job, and I love that a lot of the materials were reclaimed. Paper straws too. Save the turtles. Try their loose leaf tea out. Try everything!”

“On my way up North my dad and I stopped here passing through Bay City. I found a delicious burger inside! Nothing extraordinary about the interior, nice and clean, no complaints. It was hot out and we were on motorcycles, if it wasn't for needing to cool down I would have sat outside. We sat at the bar. Bartender was good company, she was cool that we were not ordering cocktails. They had a pretty good selection of bourbon but that doesn't mix well with 2 wheels, I'll have to do that another trip. The crown jewel of the restaurant was my burger. I ordered the Kentucky Derby, made it a double, with sweet potato fries. Fries were cooked well, not overdone, and not too soft. The bourbon onion jam, BBQ sauce, and bacon, all came together in one hell of a burger. When I'm passing through I'd definitely stop by to try another burger.”

“Very nice local bar. We had dinner here during the Tall Ship Celebration. There was a sign on the door indicating service might be slow but we only waited about 15 minutes for a table and our food came out quickly too. Service and food were both good. 1930'ish gangster theme to the decor and menu items add an interesting touch to the experience. Recommend.”

“Clean kept, well decorated, and super friendly service. I enjoyed the drinks, and purchased a piece of cake too. The Moscow mules were good and you can tell made from scratch, but there was way too much ice, and too much mint for the garnish... not sure of the price because a friend paid. I did pay for the cake though and $8 was too much for a slice of cake, home made or not.... Maybe I don't know exactly what it took to make it, to appreciate it. I'll for sure be back though!”

“Very good flautas and street tacos!!! I have a peanut/tree nut allergy and ate here no problem! They have no peanuts, tree nuts, nut oils, or mole sauce. The only nut present is macadamia nuts on top of a dessert, but they are not made in house and are kept far away from the other food so it was no problem! Nice and quick service and amazing prices!”

“Very good prepared entrees. I especially enjoy the lasagna, meatloaf, mac 'n cheese, chili. The quiche is very good as well. And the fresh soups are grand! Lunch wraps for those on the go. “Tried the new salmon rice bowl. It was a nice addition to the menu. Fresh, tasty, and well seasoned, it is a fresh option for anyone who prefers not to enjoy their fish deep fried. There are four flavor options, too, which should cater to most palates. The price ($6.95, I think) was reasonable, too. “Fantastic food and GREAT service! King Curry with Thai curry coconut sauce was delicious (my partner had that and asked for it to be spicy) and I had pea pod chicken (excellent). The hot and sour soup was also excellent. Portion size was generous for the price (I had to take some of mine home). We had both the steamed rice and fried rice, both fresh and quite good. Service was excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant in Bay City and we would definitely go back when passing through. Interior is nicely decorated and VERY clean.”
