“Great breakfast place! I tried the extreme omelet and it's very good and filling. The egg part is fluffy and not overcooked. The side of pancake is delicious, although it's a bit too sweet and didn't need to use syrup. Will come back to try more dishes! It's also conveniently located near the water and walking path to downtown which is very nice after a big meal.”

“When we got into the Bay City we didn't know what to expect. Little did we know Noah and some jambalaya would probably be the best food and service we'd have in the next 5 days. Noah was a friendly waiter who was informative, friendly, and went beyond expectations of what good service is. The ambiance was lovely and the waterway is an added bonus to the already fantastic meal you'll eat. “I received a letter concerning jury duty in Bay City's federal court. I live in another county and wanted to practice driving to the court house parking lot. My husband and son, who were navigating this fiasco, chose to eat dinner at Sushi Remix. This was the first time I had seen poke bowls, which are merely deconstructed sushi rolls in my eyes. I'm a type 2 diabetic, so I took one look at the menu and I could feel my glucose levels rising. All that white rice. All that sodium. Yum. I loveeeee white rice and sushi, but I shouldn't eat it. So I didn't eat anything. However, my son and husband ate $15 poke bowls and enjoyed their meals very much. Sushi Remix is an extremely clean little cafe, and I would recommend it to anyone who wanted a trendy little bowl of deconstructed sushi.”

However the lion inside of me loves the endless fresh cooked to PERFECTION mmmmmmeats. “This restaurant is a true gem in Bay City! I have never gotten a disappointing meal from here and the vegan options (for those so inclined) are tremendous. You will be hard pressed to find a better burger anywhere. They are large, very tasty and the offerings are very creative. Steak fries are an excellent plus. The gyro is perfection. The pizzas are exceptional as well, none better in Mid-MI. This brings me to an area of suggestion; it is difficult to determine prices on pizzas from the menu. Even thought they have specialty pizzas with set items, you still have to price it out and do the math for the number of items and some items are premium, further confusing things. This would be much easier if it were streamlined. There are times when ordering by phone you can be put on hold when you call an order in and several minutes go by without being waited on,. During these busy times a wait time of 45 minutes is not uncommon to pick up your order. All of this is due to the demand for their food; hopefully they will be able to add a suitable dine in experience that will take some of the demands off the takeout side of things. Even with these drawbacks, it is still a 5 star rating. The food is that good.”

This is the second time in a row I’ve ordered and paid for spaghetti and meatballs, only to get home with my order and realize they didn’t give me meatballs. They frequently forget things like fries, bread, and salad as well. I know it’s a good idea to check your order before you leave, but I shouldn’t have to dig around in my spaghetti to make sure they finished making it.”

“Taste of Bay City has a lot of wonderful food. Dollar Tacos on Wednesday are always nice. I have read a lot of people complaining about the taste of the tacos and I must say these are more towards a traditional Mexican style without our American taco seasoning in the meat. If you are accustomed to or looking for seasoned taco meat this might not be the best choice for you. I am 100% a fan and recommend stopping in and giving them a try.”

“Doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside is one of the cleanest, nicest bars I've been to. The food and staff were amazing, and the beer was ice cold and served in a frosted mug. Definitely a neighborhood bar with plenty of friendly regulars, and as they all came in, the bartender knew em all by name and what their drink of choice was. Definitely recommend this place, and the food! The Barney Melt and the steak sandwich both fantastic, and the fresh cut fries with some vinegar are just like you get at the fair. We will be coming back soon. Oh, and not only were restrooms impeccably clean, they smelled good too.”
