Best Mexican Restaurant I have even been to! Largest selection of Tequila anywhere in Michigan and beyond for sure! Worth the drive! We will be back every time we come to Frankfort!
Started our experience with fantastic margaritas and service on the upstairs deck looking out over the bay. Sharing the Ensalada De Jalisco and ordering a mix of tacos is highly recommended. The Carnitas are a must try. For a group the Double Fried Chicken will make everyone happy. The tequila and mezcal is expertly curated and will keep you coming back for more.
Amazing! Love that a place like this is in Frankfort now! Top patio for before or after dinner drinks is the SPOT.
South Florida person here and very impressed with the cocktail choices and food quality. We tried every taco, chilaquiles, prickly pear, and the old fashion. All of the items were delicious!!
Our favorites were the carnitas, al pastor, and camarones tacos. Im now dreaming of the prickly pear margarita 🤤
The owner is also so nice and staff was very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back here again!
We love Frankfort and have always eaten well at Birch and Maple, so we were excited to try their new creation. When we arrived, the host told us it would be about an hour and a half for a table. We were able to get some drinks and have them outside, but they were really tasteless and seemed to have no alcohol in them at all. A few people were waiting near us and they were also frustrated by the long wait and the bad drinks, so they left before their name was called. All told, it only took about a half hour for a table.
Once we were seated, we waited for awhile before a server made it to the table but it was opening weekend and they were clearly short-staffed. Things got much better from there, as she apologized for the drinks and the manager came over to explain that something went wrong with the margarita batch. He offered to make us brand new ones that were absolutely delicious. The tacos did not disappoint, and we ended up having a great time. It seems like they had a busy opening weekend, and their manager made things right, which does go a long way. Hoping that they can get more staff in soon so that everyone can enjoy their amazing patio up top - we wish them the best!
