(August 23, 2019, 11:22 pm)Excellant pates. Try their local cheese curds if they have them in stock. Usually sold out. Watch out, the locals know about this place! You can get fish sandwiches to go. No inside dining-strictly take-out. Fish is from Canada and they smoke some out back. Recommended!

(August 10, 2019, 9:47 pm)Great fresh fish they fry up or you can buy to go cook yourself. It's pricey but worth it. Had 1/2 pound walleye (about 13.00) they cooked to perfection. The smoked whitefish spread is amazing too! Eager to go back and try some other things next time in that beautiful area.

(July 10, 2019, 2:00 am)Port city has the best smoked fish. I like it better than any others in the area. It has a good balance and moisture. We always stop in on our way to the beach. They also have terrific whitefish,salmon and trout pate , and a good selection of picnic foods. A well run shop!
