The Manitou

We were visiting from Montreal and stumbled upon the Manitou and were really not disappointed! The food is one of the best fish/seafood we've ever had and the service is beyond exceptional. We were taken care of by Amanda who was very helpful, sweet and honestly provided the best service we've ever received in a restaurant before. Although the place was busy and they were short staffed, the service never suffered and the food was promptly served. It's a MUST try restaurant and we'll be back for sure

Great hidden gem. Reasonably priced and always good. Service is usually prompt attentive. Steaks, seafood, and American fare are all hits. Atmosphere is warm and rustic.

Gosh I wish this restaurant or anything remotely like it, was anywhere near my house. My husband and I rarely eat at the same place more than once. On vacation, we liked it so much, we ate here three times in a week. Loved it!

I have never had a bad meal at the Manitou. Perch, ribs, pasta, everything is great. We have friends who come to visit up here and we always have to go to The Manitou. Their prices are high but the quality is high. Service is great too. We have been trying the early bird specials lately as it convenient to just pop over early and have a great meal at a good price for just us.

Food was superb and server was knowledgeable. Warm and inviting. Best meal I have ever had there going back to 1986. Great choice for my one night off! Thanks for a great dinner experience.
