Grande Mere Inn

What a great time I had I had at Grande Mere Inn Sat night . To rate this restaurant 5 stars means it was great all the way around . The restaurant setting overlooks Lake Michigan , the inside is very upscale with a romantic feel , yet laid back so you don't have to get dressed all up to go go and eat here ! The salad was great , our waiter was great , the crab legs were 100 percent great & so we're the other side items . I have my meal with ice tea , and even the ice tea was amazing ! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to take that special someone for a really great experience ! I guess I can't brag it up enough , and plan on going back teal soon !thank you Grande Mere Inn for a really great time !!!!!!! I'm giving you 10 thumbs up my highest rating yet . ????????????????????????????????????????

Patience yields 3 deer about 10 feet from the car. Followed them for half an hour before they moved off the road. They came back to visit and forage by me! Other sites here: wild turkey, duck, geese...

This is a wonderful restaurant with great food and a wonderful ambience. Really friendly reception from the host and waitress. I had the perch which were excellent. Worth a small detour if you're in the area to dine here.

Wonderful dinner spot with an unparralled Lake Michigan view. Great food, served by a wonderful staff. If you find your way to St. Joe/ Benton Harbor you need to make your way to Grande Mere Inn; you won't regret it!

The host is a real hoot. Such a sweetie, I could eat him up with a spoon. The waitress was fantastic. Cleared plates of table to give you room, asked if you had enough butter or sour cream, just real A+ service. Quiet atmosphere with a beautiful view. Crab legs are easy to eat. Steak and lobster were fantastic. Dessert is choice, but you get them individually. Fantastic experience, between the waitress and host I would go back even if the food was average (which it obviously was not).
