“Nice place, great service, good foods but need more salt. Staying a night in the town on the way to Chicago. Found this restaurant through Google and have a nice dinner. Our waitress is great timing our dinners perfectly. Manager was checking every table and even refold a customer's napkin when he was away to the bathroom, how classy. Foods are cook fine but most of them need a bit more salt. Extensive wine menu and the house wine was surprisingly good.”

“What a great time I had I had at Grande Mere Inn Sat night . To rate this restaurant 5 stars means it was great all the way around . The restaurant setting overlooks Lake Michigan , the inside is very upscale with a romantic feel , yet laid back so you don't have to get dressed all up to go go and eat here ! The salad was great , our waiter was great , the crab legs were 100 percent great & so we're the other side items . I have my meal with ice tea , and even the ice tea was amazing ! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to take that special someone for a really great experience ! I guess I can't brag it up enough , and plan on going back teal soon !thank you Grande Mere Inn for a really great time !!!!!!!
