Papa Vino's Italian Kitchen

Tucked away, so if you're from out of town, keep your eyes peeled. Not feeling like cooking, and with a pretty good coupon in hand, we ventured from our usual routine of heading south. I had a good hunch the meatless/Lenten options would be great at a place like this, and I was not disappointed. Kids had some good food, too, with plenty of take away. More upscale than the o.g., but a chain place.

My husband and I just moved to the area in September, and husband had been begging me to try papa vino’s for months now. I don’t normally like Italian food, and many of the restaurants in st. Joseph are not good at all so I was in no rush to try it. So when I recently received a coupon in the mail i decided to finally give it a try and to my surprise it was all so delicious! Everything from the bread to the dessert was fantastic. The restaurant is beautiful inside. The staff was friendly and even my kids enjoyed every last bite on their plates. We will definitely be back again! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I didn’t care for the way the table are set up. They are way to close to each other. Also we had to keep asking for drink refills. Other then that her service was great!

Relaxing, family atmosphere. You know you are going to have good service AND very good food. Love the bar area!

Always enjoy it as a relaxing night out. The seats are great and I love that you can preorder tickets and food/drinks. The reclining seats are great and it's so nice that they can bring the food out to your seats if you want! It's a bit pricey but I love the theater, I always enjoy it.

The lasagna was good, tho not really hot. Still, very tasty. When I asked for basil to be added in my soup, it was done.
The house chardonnay was not too dry, the way I like it, and the serving was ample.
The main course servings were big enough that some of us didn't have room for desert. The tortellini tasted good, but it was a little too well done.
The service was excellent; very attentive, but not annoying.
Over all a nice experience.
