“Cocktails were delicious, twisty fries were all of the best parts of Arby's but with a homemade feel, chicken on the sandwich was really fresh. Overall a good experience. Not five stars cause we did not get the garlic knots we ordered, but we did not get charged for them either so it was just a mistake. Overall I would recommend and I would go back if I was in the area.”

“What a great time I had I had at Grande Mere Inn Sat night . To rate this restaurant 5 stars means it was great all the way around . The restaurant setting overlooks Lake Michigan , the inside is very upscale with a romantic feel , yet laid back so you don't have to get dressed all up to go go and eat here ! The salad was great , our waiter was great , the crab legs were 100 percent great & so we're the other side items . I have my meal with ice tea , and even the ice tea was amazing ! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to take that special someone for a really great experience ! I guess I can't brag it up enough , and plan on going back teal soon !thank you Grande Mere Inn for a really great time !!!!!!! I wish they had this in the west loop. beers have always been solid especially the Belgian styles. wide open interior space with views to the brewery and the wood fire ovens. also a large patio that opens up to the interior. didn't catch the front of house guys name but he recommended the homemade hot sauce and it was spot on. great option for the area.”

“Good place to watch a NCAA game or The Bears. The food is pretty good! Service is good and it’s a relaxed place to have a Old Style. There was trivia night going on. What professional Basketball team uses Sweet Georgia Brown as their theme song? They have a replica of the Cubs last World Series trophy. The trophy looked lonely all by itself. Of course If this was a St Louis Cardinals bar there could be 11 World Series Trophies spanning the length of the bar. Guess you can’t have everything!”

“We went for their Tuesday wing night since they are one of the few places around that offers vegan wings. We put our first order in and everything was delicious, but the portion was kind of small so we ordered a second round. The server came back and told us that they were out of the vegan wings, but we and one other couple were the only ones there. It was about 8:00 at this point, and on their website it said they offered wings until they closed (10pm). We were really disappointed since we drove 45 mins to get there. Service was great, drinks were great, but the kitchen was unprepared.”

I liked that the restaurant was off the beaten path and very spacious! We enjoyed watching the beer making process while enjoying our meal. You could also smell the beer making process... Would absolutely return again. The Sunday brunch from 10-2 looked promising.”

“I didnt go to Popeyes although my sister and grandfather did. They reported good food and good staff. My aunt had Pizza Hut, her pizza was completely raw on the inside, pure dough- they offered to replace- she chose to go with Taco Bell instead. That order had no issues. I had Taco Bell. The food, order effiency and staff were good. Bathrooms and restaurants stocked well and clean.”
