“This is by far the most wonderful restaurant in the area! My husband and I drive 45 minutes from South Bend to eat here on Sunday’s and it is always full of people excited to get another taste of this awesome menu! To start, the food is wonderful; fresh, delicious and well priced for what you get! Louisa’s has such a sweet and homey atmosphere and the owner is constantly walking around checking on folks to make sure everyone is happy and taken care of. The wait staff is kind and courteous. The baked goods are to die for! The donuts are the best I’ve ever had and we always find other treats we can’t get enough of! Any reviewers that gave less than 5 stars must have been in a bad mood when they made their trip to Louisa’s. I’ve witnessed the owner kindly and apologetically comp a couple’s meal for a long wait during a busy time. She is so sweet and I am so thankful Louisa’s isn’t too far from home! What Michigan treasure!”

“The prices are sell the kids to the gypsies to put together the cash to eat there high. They used to have Thursday night specials on prime rib. I would order to take out and go to the lake and eat. The last time I was there I paid $15 for a couple sliders. Ouch! Cuts of prime rib can run over sixty dollars a plate. Very popular. Right on Red Arrow Highway. You can't miss it. They also have an open air market in the parking lot in the summer. There are unique items that you don't see at most open air markets. They can start to all look the same. It's not large, but it's unique.”

“We stopped here for lunch and we both had a great meal. I had the two item combo with brisket and pulled pork along with cowboy beans and mac and cheese. The brisket was fall apart tender and had a great smoked flavor and the pulled pork was very tasty and tender, full of juice. The mac and cheese was some of the best I’ve had with a good cheese flavor throughout with a nice crispy top. The service was quick and friendly, couldn’t ask for more. We will definitely be back.”

My husband got a double burger and it was quite large, way too big from me. Our bill came & I was shocked at how inexpensive it was. We will definitely choose this place again.”
