“They load the pizza with toppings but they slack with the pizza sauce. You need more sauce with all those toppings. Also the menu I looked at was apparently their old menu with cheaper prices. I paid twice as much as expected because their old menu had cheaper prices. If that was my business I would have given the customer the price they seen and fix or delete the “old” menu.”

“I would really like to try their banana split someday. My family and I have gone here for ice cream 6 or 7 times now, and every single time I've been told they're "out of bananas." My wife also hopes to enjoy their oatmeal chip ice cream again someday. She tried it last year and liked it, but it has not been back since (we were even told specifically what months of the year they supposedly carry it, but even then there's a sign for it on the case but some other flavor in its place). Fortunately, our kids have never had a bad experience because there are always plenty of kid-friendly flavors for them to pick from.”

“I received a complimentary stay at the Quality Inn from Firekeepers. At first I was disappointed because it looked run down from the outside. But took the opportunity for a kid free overnight stay. I was surprisingly blown away with the excellent customer service. And the room was nice and cozy. But most importantly very clean! And complimentary breakfast is included, big bonus. “While visiting Battle Creek, we saw a Moonraker billboard. We were looking for someplace to accommodate 22 people. Once at Moonraker, the staff was friendly. Our server did a great job in handling our order. I shared the walleye sandwich and a Philly cheese steak sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious. “Our visit to the Lucky Rooster was an interesting one to say the least. There wasn't many people there when we arrived at 5PM on a Saturday, but it was getting pretty filled up by the time we left. Parking was very easy and plentiful with additional parking across the street to the right of the building. We were seated immediately. We ordered the Lucky Rooster Dip as an appetizer for the table. Unfortunately, the chips were stale (despite the waitress insisting that they were house-made in the back) and the dip was ultimately flavorless. The waitress brought out new chips that were much more fresh than our original batch. Not worth the $9 price tag. However, our luck changed when it came to the entrees and they all came out piping hot, large in portion, and very delicious. I got the Fettuccine Alfredo (added chicken for an up-charge) and my wife got the Lasagna (which, while on the menu, was explained to us as only a Friday or Saturday offering). My wife was only able to finish half of the dish and had to take the rest home. The pricing is a bit high for the area, but we knew that going in. Still, we left with a $125+ tab for four people. This will not be a place that can be visited casually - only for more special occasions, despite the casual bar decor. I appreciated the food, however, they need to decide between the 'casual bar grub' feel versus fine Italian dining. For the part of Battle Creek they are in, they may need to reassess. Lucky Rooster will also make a killing on all of their meat up-charges for their meals, alone.”

“Very nice local place. Used to be out by the mall on Beckley, then moved to Kalamazoo for a bit and came back to Battle Creek. They have retained the same menu and best of all, the food remains the same level. Perfect for family dining. Another great addition at the current location is that they have an ice cream parlor (hence the name). Only place in Battle Creek where you can get a decent Gyro. This becomes more important since Theo and Stacy's in Kalamazoo closed their Portage Road location. Good Gyros are hard to come by. That's not to say everything else they have isn't good because it is. Portions are huge for the price too.”

“As a child nothing better. I have been with my wife for 5 years. All I talk about is how great pizza Sam's is and we should get it. Had it throughout my child hood. Final we make it to first shift. So we order, great customer service but when we get home the taco pizza has no toppings. Very friendly to replace order but among getting replacement I have 2 inch slices and 8 in slices with missing ingredients on more than half had to make the pizza myself again and cut it. Did something happen or new management. Will never go there again over priced if I have to make my own food. Great price if you could do the job. Again sorry for my loss. Love your pizza when it's done right. Pizza taco no toppings in your book for replacement incase you wanted to know who wrote this.”

I had a late evening order and was able to fit my truck/trailer right into the neighboring parking lot. Ordered again recently during the day and my bobtail ( semi, no trailer) went into the actual Pizza Hut lot just fine. Great location.”

I hope his employees can learn from him what I appreciated tonight. I do not mean that in any bad way as to the employees. My husband ordered 2 Hot N Ready. We are vegetarian and my husband thought they were just cheese pizza. Not so. But Tyrone listened to him, we exchanged pizza's and got bread sticks too. He didn't have to do that. We never expected or asked. I worked retail 20 years ago and customer service was key. I now work in healthcare and customer service is also key. The relationships and how you treat and react with people is everything. You get out what you put in. Great job Tyrone. You inspired me to make my first review.
