“Nice value for your food. Wasn’t anything special but you did get a good portion. We had the breakfast and it was decent but lacked seasoning and everything tasted plain. Service was a bit slow today but staff was a little busy. Some people walked out because the ticket times were around 45 minutes. Nice clean place and friendly staff. Just needs a few more tweaks here and there to become a 5 star from me.”

“I have never been the type to write reviews but during my visit to Battle Creek I went to Soul Good LLC and honestly the food was so amazing I had to leave a review. This place is Battle Creek’s best kept secret!! I will definitely drive from Kalamazoo to Battle Creek every weekend just for another delicious meal. “The crust: buttery and rich, without any one flavor overpowering another. Cooked just right, with a nice crisp edge on the outside and a nice, chewy body. The sauce: bright; tomato-forward. Not a lot of pizazz or herbs and spices, you can really taste the freshness. (Death to jar sauce!) The pineapple tastes like it's cut fresh, not mushy like canned, and the pepperoni and sausage are very flavorful. They don't get too crisp on top of the pie. The price: $12 for a large with 3 toppings on one half and one topping on the other. Extremely reasonable. The customer service: superb, they're very friendly and accommodating. Talking to them briefly on the phone actually brightened my day a little. I hope this place is around for years to come.”

“Almost 5 stars. Easy on-and-off I-94? Check. Good parking? Check. Great service? Check. Clean and pleasant dining room? Check. Good selection of breakfast and lunch items? Check. Reasonable pricing? Check. We're local so we eat here maybe twice a month since they opened earlier this year. In all the meals we have tried so far, there have been a few quality issues: room-temperature biscuits and gravy, overcooked gyro meat, and a decidedly poor fruit cup. However, I'm overlooking those things because they don't repeat them.”
