The Villager Pub

My husband and I stopped here for dinner while staying in Charlevoix. When you walk in there’s a bar area and some tables. That room seemed to have some character and a little life in it. The second dining room they brought us to was nothing that great to look at. However, all the decor issues were forgotten when we ordered the fish and chips. I got the cod and my husband ordered the whitefish. Both plates arrived to us piping hot and the fish and fries were very crisp. Be aware, they do leave the skin on the whitefish fillets when the batter and fry them. It was different, I didn’t really care for the skin left on so we ended up picking it off. The fish itself was dense, yet flaky and very fresh. I’d go back again for the fish and chips!

Sat outdoor with the wife and dog. Had a very good Walleye fish meal with a beer. Service was awesome.

We have come to this place every year for over 30 years to eat white fish. Today they didn't have any! The server was sweet, and we had a good meal. But when you make a special trip to Charlevoix for white fish, and can't have it, disappointment is a thing!

You can't go to Charlevoix and not stop in the Villager Pub best ever, love this place been going here for over 30 years and it always gets better, thanks Terry. It's extremely clean, service is outstanding, excellent atmosphere and the food is over the top. one of my absolute favorite places to go

Loved the restaurant. My girlfriend got the onion rings and a wet burrito, she said it was great. I got the hot chicken wing. The flavor was good but the wings could have been more crispy and hot. Service could have been better. I would like to stop back again though.
