Penny's Kitchen

We chose this spot hoping to find good food reasonably priced and were blessed to find that and more. The staff was warm, friendly and very helpful. The restaurant is extremely clean. We chose the chicken pot pie, CB Reuben and Dinty Moore sandwiches and the three of us enjoyed it all. This is a true gem of an establishment! Make this your next meal out!

A lovely place for even the pickiest of eaters! I got a few different dishes just to try them and I was not disappointed with any of them. I make a point to get a Ruben sandwich anywhere they are sold and this is the best Ruben I've ever had, not dry, there was no overwhelming taste of sauerkraut, just thr right amount of everything. Out of towner here. But when I come back to town, I will definitely eat here.

I had not been back to "The Soo" for decades, but heading back and experiencing the friendliness, the service and, of course, the food, I was teleported back to a simpler time when people were kinder, more thoughtful and cared about you as a person. In short, Penny's is an icon in the community with the amenities of an internet cafe, the down home cooking of your favorite local restaurant, sweet tooth satisfying cookies/pastries/cakes, and the comfortable feel of being home. Two full thumbs up.
