“This restaurant is so sweet! The staff and owners were welcoming, helpful, and laid back. The food was also amazing, I got the belgium waffles with strawberries and whipped cream, my kiddos got eggs, toast, and meat, and another person at the table got the giant pancakes. Strongly recommend!”

“We stopped multiple times over the course of the weekend!! Really great portions, good prices (especially for a touristy area), and had ample parking. There is a covered outdoor space to eat, as well as corn hole (bags) to play in the back. We only had the ice cream and not a full meal, but heard good reviews about the main dishes. Ice cream was tasty and the people serving were very nice !”

“This is the true gem of Drummond Island, not some rock on the ground (!). The couple who.own and operate this shop have all angles covered, and do them each well. It is a delicatessen (serving Zimgerman's deli breads and meats), a fudge shop (smooth as silk), a clothier (Stormy Kromer hats, vests, coats), a hobby shop (in case you need a model train), and a Cafe (the batista knows her business!).”

“I’was so excited to celebrate my birthday at Chucks Place Bar & Grill upon our arrival to Drummond Island! It was their all you can eat Fish fry Fridays and I was pleasantly surprised by its quaint charm in a dated way but most of all, the food was delicious! I’ve not had poutine in a long while and this was the closest to what they served in Canada across the way. Everything was delicious and the Pollock was to die for indeed! I would recommend this establishment on your visit to the island.”

“Clyde‘s Drive-In is a hidden gem, on the edge of Sault Ste. Marie. We were welcomed by incredible friendly staff, that helped us to find and customize our favorite burger. While we were waiting for the food, the owner showed up and took the time for a little talk about the history of the restaurant. The burgers were unbelievable tasty. For sure one of the best burgers I ever had. Also the atmosphere of the restaurant is just great with so many details. I would really like it, if there were more amazing restaurants like that around. 100% recommendation.”

“Stopped by here with my wife and our dog because it was the closest place with a patio we could find. Really good beers, the best spinach artichoke dip we've had, and the chipotle chicken wrap was delicious, too. The staff was great and we enjoyed getting to hang out on a beautiful day. The pizza crust was really good- soft and chewy- salad was so fresh with lots of feta and served with garlic bread. Clean, great service and amazingly good food. “Our waiter was so awesome! I just wish I remembered his name. He was new but I couldn't tell because he was great. The food was great, they let me order a veggie fajita even though it wasn't on the menu. The most amazing thing was that after eating, when it was time to pay, I realized I had left my wallet and keys on the chair outside and I went outside panicking, but the bartender Elyse had stopped me to tell me that someone had turned it in. She took the time to find me and message me on Facebook to make sure I got it back. I would recommend this place anyway. 👏 My pals ordered the street tacos and said they were amazing. 🌮”
