Terrace Bay Hotel

Can't say enough good things about hotel and staff. Was an excellent stay. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and AMAZING food and beverages at the Fresh Water Tavern. Can't wait to make another trip there.

Nice hotel, located on the water, with some renovated rooms. The onsite restaurant is terrific with great menu and staff. My only comments are 1) there is no breakfast included. For the price (up to $250 per night), one would expect at the minimum to have continental breakfast included. There is a coffee shop in the lobby which serves breakfast sandwiches, but $13 for coffee, juice, and sandwich add up. 2) the balconies have lights which can not be turned off. And the rooms lack blackout curtains! The balcony light still illuminates the room at night. For those who need darkness to sleep, there is no option to do so. Or for those who work nights and need to sleep during the day, there is no way to black out the room. 3) no safes in room. Otherwise nice place with friendly staff. Thanks so much!

The hotel recently had a very larger remodel, and the rooms are great! However, the hard water was something else to deal with. The tub had brown water coming out when you first turn on the shower, and then it had a bad odor for as long as it was running (also in the bathroom sinks). For as much as they charge a night, $227, you would think they would have a water treatment system installed to resolve this issue. Overall it was the worst part but definitely could be fixed. Overall it was clean and the staff was friendly.

So much history with this great establishment. Just walk the halls and view the posters from past events. The surrounding views add to the experience. Truly designed for visitors to enjoy the elements on the premises. Our room is scheduled to b renovation but it was perfect and unique. A real relaxing experience as our last hotel before heading home.

This is a great hotel. The rooms were very nice and they have activities available. My husband was able to check out a bike and do a little exploring. In the morning we checked out some kayaks for awhile. The staff was great. They were very friendly and helpful. We also liked that they had a coffee shop on site. Highly recommended!!
