Very small restaurant and a favorite with locals! Cozy decor with amazing art in the walls. Service is efficient and attentive. The menu is small yet well put together. All the dishes we had were well prepared and tasty. The rustic salad was well dressed and flavorful. The August in Detroit burger was cooked to perfection, juicy and tasteful. The Parmesan and panko crusted perch was so flavorful and moist. The Reuben sandwich was delicious, with tender corned beef and good bread.

Fantastic menu! Upscale American pub favorites, Detroit specialties, and some unique and healthy options too. Very unique and well-styled cocktail offerings to boot. Reservations are advised because seating is limited.

The food is super good!!! One of the best I’ve ever been. I think it will be the reason I am visiting the town again. The staff are really nice and friendly. Loved it.

Great food and service. The perch sandwich was delicious. The perfect proportions of fish, toppings and bun. Very friendly and fast service. Decor was interesting and stylish.

Space is a bit cramped. Food was good, just not exactly what he had in mind when he ordered.

    Edit:
You misunderstand. The food was good. My burger was fine. He ordered a steak dish but thought it was more like a pot roast. It was good, just not quite what he envisioned when he ordered. Not a big deal. I didn't do 4/5 due to that. It was more due to it being cramped and rather cold when we visited. Overall, we enjoyed the experience. I would recommend checking the place out.
