Charles & Reid Detroit Pizza

We're not normally fans of sauce on top but this pizza is amazing! Perfectly crunchy crust and the sauce tastes so fresh with the perfect hint of fresh garlic. This is my go to Pizza now when I'm in the area. If you like deep dish and fresh ingredients... This is your pizza.

Where have you been all my (northern MI) life? Since coming to TC, I have missed Detroit-style pizza like this. Like cry myself to sleep with heartache missed. Yes, I know there are others but it just didn’t quite have it. This? This is fantastic. The crust is crunchy and savory, the sauce (on top) is rich and flavorful. I could go on and on. My new number one! Thanks for opening up in the alley! If you haven’t been, go! And to you Charles and Reid, count me in as a regular! Oh and the Greek salad was delicious too but who am I kidding? I came for the pizza! 5 stars!

great if you can get one. sold out this Saturday. so we order a Jet's . almost as good but more reliable. We will try again when demand is low, but Jet's is a great back up plus they have great chicken wings.

This place is awesome. Dan is great, super welcoming. Service is excellent, crust is perfectly crunchy sauce is well balanced and main pizza menu (though small) is very good. Can't wait until they can be a sit down establishment, but for now I will keep on ordering to go. Good stuff.

I mean talk about some stellar pizza. The crust was baked perfectly, toasted and crunchy even with it being deep dish. THE SAUCE, the sauce deserves its own review because it is hands down the best I have ever had. The garlic hint is just phenomenal. Drove all the way from Kalamazoo to try this pizza and I was NOT disappointed. On top of the delicious pizza, the COVID precautions were also top notch. 10/10 would recommend over and over and over. Well done.
