“Lil Bo's had an authentic "up north" or "northwoods" vibe. It was busy, but the bartenders and kitchen staff were hustling as well as friendly. The beer was cold and the food was great. I recommend the fried greed tomatoes. The chicken strips were great too.”

“Super local hang out kind of place. The bartender was kind, knowledgeable, and honest. I recently moved to TC and have been looking for a low-key place to just chat with people. This is it. They offer typical bar food, everything tastes great but it's not great for you. 😉 The pours are generous, and the bar was clean. There are pool tables and dining booths in the back. There's also a "wall of smallies" that any fisherman will appreciate!”

“Loving Old Mission Distilling at Seven Hills!! Comfortable and inviting seating inside in the lounge area or at the bar with the lively and friendly staff. Outside has the most beautiful views of the surrounding nature to enjoy while sipping a cocktail in a rocking chair. I’ll definitely be coming here regularly!!”

“While visiting friends in Traverse City we stopped in to Mission Proper for a drink. I was instantly impressed with the exquisite decor, friendly staff, amazing coffee, beautiful outdoor seating area and everything in between. Our bartender, Vince, was fantastic. He was super attentive and answered all our questions about the menu and venue. I would go back in a heartbeat.”

“If you work remote and need a place to take a phone call and enjoy coffee, this is the place for you. I’ve tried a handful of coffee places in TC and everywhere blasts music, with limited space to take calls. I highly suggest! Plus their food and coffee is delicious.”

“We really enjoyed our visit to pizza parliament. It was late night, and we were struggling to find some place to eat. They were exceedingly busy, and the young man who was behind the counter was working alone. He had to take orders, make the pizza and cash people out, but he did it with a smile and really made the visit worthwhile. We felt bad for him that he was so busy And all alone but again he made the best of it. The pizza was one of the best that we have had in a long long time. They do have an on site bar as well so pizza and beer you can’t go wrong. If you’re in the area definitely stop by. It’s well worth a visit.”

“5 stars is for the bread! Healthy fermentation!!! Sesame peasant is so yummy. However the fisherman’s stew, which was beautiful, was full of flavor in the broth but lacking in fish! 1/2 of a shrimp and 4 small pieces of fish about the size of a dime. As beautiful as it was, We won’t get again.”

“We stopped for breakfast! The whipped ricotta toast is exceptional! As was the vegetarian sandwich! Both had multiple layers of deliciousness in flavors! The ambience is great with music and people! They have cocktails 🍹 Service was wonderful! The owner was telling me about their pickles, but I did not have any with my breakfast dish so I was a little bummed. However, he came back with a small serving so I could try some! This is the place, y’all! Cannot wait to come back!🍞🥐☕️🥖🇦🇷”

“OBSESSED. My husband and I discovered this place in June, and we've been getting takeout from this place at least once a month (if not more) since then. The flavors are out of this world, and I find myself craving their food!! It's so nice to have an option that isn't burgers or fried fish in TC! The spice is just right!! Everything on their menu is fantastic, but we get the Boiled Pork Wontons, Chicken & Salt Cod Fried Rice, and the Spicy Cold Noodles every time. We always add one or two extra items to try because the menu is always changing! Photo shows (from top left) Numbing Chicken Wings, Chicken & Salt Cod Fried Rice, Boiled Pork Wontons, Spicy Sichuan Mouth Watering Chicken, Smashed Cucumber Salad, Dan Dan Noodles, and Spicy Cold Noodles with Chicken. You won't regret trying this place!!”

“The owner was so nice and helped customers pick out what they would like from the menu! The boba is sweet but not too sweet and you get to choose what flavor pearls or jelly. The egg roll noodle bowl I got was good and a fair price for the portion! I’ll be back to try more plates!”

“We got our food to go but I went inside to pick up the food and used the restrooms. I LOVE the all plant based style menu and the restaurant was very inclusive. They have all gender restrooms and they had indoor and outdoor seating. My partner had the Holy Grail Impossible Burger and they said it was very good and spicy. I had the Classic with a Chkn patty and that was also very tasty! The fries were great and the Pretzel bites were phenomenal! My partner loved them with the mustard sauce and I loved them with the cashew cheese sauce! We didn't stay for drinks but they have a great drink menu, I would absolutely go back there!”

“What a great addition to TC! Lots of options for sushi and yes, even for options for those who don’t like fish! I got the mango roll and asparagus roll and they both hit the spot. The miso soup was very hearty too. Super fair prices. I’ll be back!!”

“we eat often at the cast iron kitchen by Chums Corner in Traverse City, we always dine in. we have had Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. All of the meals have been outstanding, the food always has an atractive appeal to it. The flavor is always outstanding I especially love the Irish Country breakfast the hash is made fresh I have them put country gravy on it which only adds to the appeal and also taste. Actually it is very addicting Lol as The flavor is just awesome. everyone is always friendly helpful we have gotten to know most of the staff. They take good care of all of their customers. I cannot mention names as I can only remember a couple of them .So to be fair ALL OF THE staff should be given high praise and cudos for the good and very awesome job that they do. Chonda and Scott faithful frequent flyers.”

“Off the beaten path, next to Fife Lake, is this hidden gem! They offer a Silver dollar sized chicken & waffle appetizer, picture worthy, cause it was too cute! Burgers cooked to perfection. But it’s the VERY courteous staff that provided a knock out welcome, for these newbies! We enjoyed a round of pool, while we waited for our food. IPA on tap, which provides the opportunity to try something new! We will be back.”

“We stayed at Great Wolf Lodge in traverse City and we're looking for some late night food that we could afford after spending all day on expensive resort food. When I tell you the food from here was a breath of fresh air. Everything was so well made and tasted great. We got a good amount of food for the amount we spent and were so full. The delivery was timed perfect and the lady was incredibly nice. Every town needs late night food like this.”
