Grand Traverse Pie Company

I always love this location. It's not the fanciest or biggest. It is in Traverse City but not the original location. This location just always has good energy. It's located in a strip mall, just outside the core of downtown. You order your food or pie and pay there. Then when it's ready they call your name to come get it.

I ordered the Cherrywood BLT sandwich and a pumpkin muffin. Both were very good and very fresh. Their was plenty of well cooked bacon on my BLT. The person I was with had the breakfast sandwich and also thought it was very good.

The service was excellent and very efficient while being very friendly.

Overall a 5 star review. Would I return? Yes I will.

Eh...I wanted to like this place more. I got the cherry chicken salad which was GREAT but they put it on a stale croissant. My husband had the BLT which was okay. Mac and cheese was only half-heated, there were cold spots so I'm thinking it was probably reheated in a microwave or something. The saving grace here is the pie of course - we got cherry peach crumb and apple crumb with pecans and caramel. Yum!

Food was delicious and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. We brought home a cherry pie and enjoyed every bite. Definitely recommend!

The Mountain Berry Pie was excellent!! The Mediterranean Chicken (have to ask to add) was wonderful! They have those great fresh, kettle cooked chips too go with your sandwich or Berry Applesauce!! So good!
