Great wraps. Great ranch. Great service. Need I say much more?
This is a quaint little hole-in-the-wall joint. The food is made quick to order, pipping hot, and delicious - especially for the college crowd rolling around drunk at two in the morning, desperately hoping to fight off the incoming hangover and dealing with a crazy lady back home. They're open well after the bars close so they must have their target audience down to a science.
Beyond all that, the music was a little loud and definitely not to my taste, seating is limited (but by design), and the staff actually seemed a little impatient. But if you just want some bomb local cuisine, check this place out for sure. I'd compare it to a wrap equivalent of Big John's Steak & Onion, if anyone out there is familiar.
I noticed an uncanny resemblance to Menna's Joint which I experienced long ago in Grand Rapids. I then read a bit and found that there is a rivaled past between the two. I loved my wrap. It was prepared fresh and I was great. You can tell that this is a college kid/late night drunk food paradise. Simple menu, roped lines. No way to get mixed up and no fuss. They call your number when it's up.
The other "dub place". It's a college joint, with that kind of down scale ambiance. Staff is friendly and if you like tater tots, this will be your mecca! Hearty "dubs" aka grilled wraps, with meat, cheese and tots. Plan on eating 1 and share a side of tots with friends, you will be stuffed by the end.
