“The service is fantastic, very friendly the shop was clean, and the individuals working were very knowledgeable about their products. The chicken figures were ok - think medium end fingers, the wings were well cooked, but the sauces all tasted a little too much like butter. Even the breading on the chicken fingers tasted… buttery. They don’t have fountain sodas so you have to buy individual cans or bottles of water - not great. The fries are on the thicker side and have the same buttery fry taste. Mac and cheese is home style and very cheesy. And lastly the corn bread is TINY.”

“One of the best places to have come to downtown East Lansing. Small shop with a cook/owner who has a passion for the food he makes and cares about the customer. Reasonably priced @ around $9 a sandwich with generous portions. Compared to other hot sandwich locations, Capo's give you a sandwich twice the size for a dollar more, made fresh. Not the fast-food "fresh", REAL FRESH. Hot grill, raw meat and vegetables, toppings, and cheese. good cheese. My only complaint is that they didn't open sooner. Food 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Employees 10/10”

“What I love.... The prices, variety menu, and everything is pretty good. What I didn't love....takes too long to prepare food. It's pretty simple food items on the menu. It took forever to get my food. Too much of the staff talking amongst each other and playing around. Probably why it takes long to get things. Staff behind the counter eating and drinking. If they're on break they shouldn't be hanging out behind the counter. I have gone almost every day since they opened, so this is just my observation. Maybe it will get better. Still will go. Happy to have this place here. Better than juice nation...juice nation is nasty and overpriced.”

“I love this place! The food is amazing and the people are great! I recommend the Maz Benedict it’s a play on the classic eggs Benedict but with a sausage patty instead of ham. And the sausage patty here are out of this world. You have to try them to believe it. The home fries are soft in the middle and crispy on the outside and seasoned to perfection. “Mulan opened recently in East Lansing and it is such a great addition to our downtown. They make their noodles in house, and you can tell how much love and care they put into their dishes. Between my party we ordered the chicken fried noodles, shrimp fried noodles, and chicken fried rice. Everyone was really impressed. Their Mango iced fruit drink was also a serve. I'll definitely be coming back soon and you should too :) PS: Portions are BIG! Hooray for not making lunch tomorrow 😊”

Also, you can catch any game on their many TVs... I will be getting to Ellison early during March Madness to secure a good spot at the bar. Highly recommended!”

“I tried this place on a whim, when I spotted it out of the corner of my eye while picking up something else nearby. Everything I picked up was properly done and excellent. She does one thing and she does it very well. That all said, the plum macaron I picked up was one of the best things I have eaten and blew the other 5 I tried out of the water, it was perfect.”
