Reminds me of an old supper club with a salad bar, garlic toast, liver and onions (really good!), chicken kebobs, and other offerings that you don't typically see in today's menus but very popular back in the day. Friendly staff, also some pasta and Greek (I was told this was outstanding) items too. Great food at a really good price.

their burgers and onion rings are the best in the city. also fell in love with their mounds and butter pecan ice cream. their desserts are as good or better than homemade. esp their crisps and bread pudding. they are the best I've ever had. thanks, Gables!!!

I was reminded today how good this place is. They still have the house made Mounds ice cream I fell in love with decades ago. I had the rolled spinach lasagna (but with their meat sauce, yum) and spouse enjoyed the hot roast beef. Excellent food and service.

We went there for brunch. It is from 9 am till 1:45 PM. It was very good. They have all your morning food such as eggs, bacon, sausage, quiche, pancakes, waffles, sweet rolls and 3 different kinds of juice on the buffet. Of course you can order off the menu also. For as busy as they were our server was great and they kept up filling the food in the hot trays.
