The food here was great and the staff was so kind. We found the restaurant on a fairly quiet night, but even so, I saw at least two orders for pick up getting picked up, so perhaps they were busier for carry-out that night. In addition to restaurant food, they also carry a few grocery items worth checking out
Best Middle Eastern food in Lansing...hands down. Everything is great, good portions, friendly staff and casual. Kabobs, hummus and tabbouleh are all awesome...then again... finding something that isn't is a hard task.
This is my favorite place to go when I eat out! The food is always good and there are plenty of options, even if I'm on a budget. The owner is almost always there and has great stories, and all of the staff are very friendly! This is usually the first place I suggest if I have friends visiting.
For $16+, you can get this lamb+chicken kabob w rice. To be honest, the price is a bit high for this portion. And the kabobs are a bit burnt.
I am giving 4 stars to give them a chance to improve. I think they give a lot of condiments (bread, etc) but small meat and rice portions for the money.
If you come here, i suggest the sandwiches as those are much more worth it.
Went to Lansing (where I grew up) and had to stop at my favorite Middle Eastern restaurant. Still as good as I remember. Family owned, Generous portions and spot on flavor make Aladdin's a must when you are having a craving for this style of food.
