First time at this popular brunch spot. Seating method is a bit odd, this place is too small for the business it gets. Great for the owners but the dining experience suffers. The food prices were great, wait was extensive and was disappointed that my sandwich came out soggy on one side like it was waiting and fries were limp and not hot. I don't mind the wait as long as the food is right. Smoked brisket is not what I consider smoked, more like braised. (Photo of fries and brisket) A little too much icing on cinnamon roll for my taste, ratio was off because they are quite thin. The buttermilk biscuit looked great. Would maybe go back to try. Definitely not the worst but not the best place in Lansing for brunch. Games while you wait. The service was great and owners appeared to be friendly and loved...had the food been great, it would have gotten 5 stars.
This place is so good. It's family owned and the family is incredibly warm and friendly. Everything that we tried was delicious. It's unbelievably reasonably priced. In fact, they should probably charge more. We will be back!
Some of the absolute best food I’ve ever had. We’re a group of 7 coaches that travel all over for camps and are always looking to satisfy our inner foodies! Hands down one of my top 3 favorite breakfast experiences in years!! So fresh, such quality and taste!! What really put this place over the top though was the INCREDIBLE customer service!!!! Thank you to their most lovely staff!!!!
I almost overlooked this place. Love supporting locally in my city. Super cute inside and out. Serving your own coffee in the mug of your choice makes this quaint spot feel like home. Food and people were great. Larry (one of the two cooks) came out and greeted his diners, which added points in my book. We will be back!
Absolutely delicious and fun little space. This diner (I guess that's what I'd call it, maybe more like cafe?) is a quaint little nook right near the airport. You order right when you walk in and then get seated. The person who took my order was cheerful and nice. He explained to the customer before about how they thoughtfully source so many of their ingredients.
