Food is good, but what stood out more to me was how clean the place was, and how much attention the manager was paying to the employees. They were training a new person, and I heard him making sure that the rest of the team was supporting the new person. I'd ask the question about a menu item, and the manager told the cashier to get me a sample. He was just really paying attention to the quality of their customer service and I appreciated it. Even the parking lot was neat as a pin.
I made an order and left my wallet at home, the manager was cool about it and held onto my order for me. When I got back they picked fresh chicken for me and threw me am extra 4 biscuits for coming back!! Food was delicious as always, the spicy chicken is my go to.
Waited forever in drive thru at 9:48pm we didn't leave until 10:12pm and my chicken box was old. They gave us cheesecake because they had no biscuits. Had no unsweetened tea and still sold me one. I just had them take the drink off. They did give extra chicken strips except they were all old and hard. I do appreciate them trying to take care of us. Just wish my chicken had been fresh. It was very old. The potatoes were very yummy.Hopefully the manger sees this and makes it right. Gave a 3 because the ladies were very nice. They tried.
Ordered the chicken tenders with a side of cole slaw. Tenders tasted ok, but were barely warm. Breading and quality of the chicken was good. Cole slaw was good. Biscuit was surprisingly salty, but good with some honey. Asked for two sauces and got one.
I would try it again, but my first Popeyes experience was disappointing.
This was my second time going there and most of the food tasted good except for the chicken tenders. They just weren't as good as the last time I was there. Also, I had ordered spicy tenders, but they seemed like the mild tenders instead. The red beans and rice, mashed potatoes and gravy, and biscuits were great.
