Buddies Pub & Grill

Love this place. I used to go here when I was younger and it brings back good memories. Now I live in Okemos again and me and my wife love to stop in for a drink and some food. The specials here are awesome and the Buddies sampler is the best bang for you buck.

We inevitably get to Buddies every visit to Okemos because it’s my Dad’s favorite place. It’s actually difficult to get a bad meal here. I’ve tried multiple dishes and loved every one of them. They have a good selection of beer, including craft brews. You can get Italian, Mexican, Salads, and American fare. The portions are unbelievably huge. Enough for at least 2 meals if you’re not a big eater. Prices are reasonable and they hey take all credit cards. Awesome place.

Pleasing environment with good seating. Nice breakfast buffet, predominately adult acting adults. Pull tabs and keno a plus. Food's good; however, I'm not picky.

The only place we go to when we visit with family in Okemos (its basically my sister and bro-in-laws' "Cheers" for those of you old enough to remember that show. Good sandwiches, nice selection of beers and surprisingly good pizza. And, staff friendly and kind enough to supply a beautiful birthday cake for someone's special day.
