“Tried this place after having their menu on my fridge for quite some time now. I can say I've been missing out. It's rare in this state to have an independent pizza parlour, and even rarer that the pizza is great. This place ticks both boxes. It was also a good indicator that they purportedly sell their own dough. I had the Thursday social and it did not disappoint. Plenty of cheese and the dough was properly chewy and not too thick and not too thin. I'd strongly recommend this place to anyone considering a pie and is tired of the typical chain offerings.”

“This is the first visit to Buddies. Actually, the first time I was able to get in for a sit down meal. I went there at least 3 times prior to this visit and it was so packed, we would just turn around and leave. (After 5pm, it begins to fill. On a Friday, after 6p, forget about it). The day I was there was on a Friday at 4p. Fairly empty. By 5p, most tables were full. The menu is basically pub food. Wraps, burgers, wings, appetizers. The cocktail menu is small. I ordered a club sandwich and my son ordered the Reuben sandwich. I asked for french fries (crispy). My son had a bud light and I ordered the mango mule. The space is open with tables, booths and TV's. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Our food was good. The temperature outside was in the 90's. It was "muggy" in the restaurant and our waitress was sweating. Despite that, she maintained her composure and provided excellent service. ???? we enjoyed our food and ACTUALLY received crispy fries! My ONLY issue was that my drink was full of ice and watered down. It was bland. No flavor and I tasted NO alcohol. I forgot to ask for little ice. That drink, I believe was almost $10? I do not recommend this drink. Other than that, we had a good experience.”

“Tonight was are first experience at this restaurant. The food and service was fantastic especially for the price. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. The humus is absolutely the best in the Lansing area! And I've had humus at several restaurants in the area. I'm leaving 5 stars for the food and the service. Almost left 4 stars because the cleanliness of the dinning room tables and windows certainly could have been cleaner. All in all we'll definitely be back.”

“When I picked up my pizza about a month back now I was rung up by a man that looked like he was a manager. He had a reddish colored beard and he looked like he was high on drugs the whole time possibly marijuana. Honestly most of the staff except for a few of the younger workers looked disheveled and just honestly dirty. We stick to delivery from now on because it seems like you could catch something just walking into that store. We’ve gotten the same delivery Driver both times a very nice looking younger gentleman that was much nicer and less condescending than the red bearded manager.”

So convenient to go through the drive thru and get a nice size bag for 99 cents. If you get the cinnamon sticks microwave the icing container (remove foil lid) for 20 seconds and stir and pour over. Works well that way. Ask for free plates and napkins so dinner cleanup is a breeze.”
