Great lunch. We had the fish tacos and a "beer" burger. Both were very tasty.
Our family of four stayed here in July for a few days. It's probably not a good fit for delicate snowflakes but suited our needs. We ate at their restaurant the day we arrived. It was a bit pricey but the waitress was very pleasant and the portions were large enough for two meals. I can't speak for the rooms at the lodge because we stayed in one of their cabins on Lake Huron (across the street from the lodge). Our cabin was perfect for the four of us and the beach was right outside our front door. A couple of things to note: The beach is smaller at this time (2019) due to high lake levels. The Great Lakes water level fluctuates up and down so this may change. Also, there is no air conditioning in the cabins. We were comfortable but this could be an issue for some during hotter weather. Last and least, there was a problem with the cable the first night but management gave us a generous discount to make up for this. Bottom line, a lot more pros than cons!
Wonderful restaurant hidden behind the Camp Inn Motel, very well managed, clean, excellent service and the food will leave you wanting more.
Portions are large with plenty of all you can drink beverage refills
Probably the best hidden place in the area but well worth it.
Restaurant is fully ADA compliant and the facilities were clean and up to standards
Our average table cost was $44.80 before tip per person for meals and appetizers and excellent deserts . There was no tipping suggestions or rules so you can reward the great service appropriately.
When traveling the Sunrise Side this is a Must Stop,
They’re even polite enough to take reservations (even thought we didn’t need them)
Stopped in here in a referral for dinner after golfing all day.
Pleasantly surprised with the variety on the menu.
From a Reuben sandwich to shrimp and scallops. Apparently Mondays are Mongolian night. I had the shrimp and scallops. It was very good, shrimp was perfectly cooked scampi style as were the scallops. Salad was fresh and dressing was good. Came with a homemade style cheese bread. Delicious. 2 Friends had the stuffed shells with chicken breast. They loved it. Another friend had the BBQ wings and he raved about how good they were. Will definitely recommend. Will definitely return and try other things on the menu. Service was outstanding.
