Ichiban Japanese Restaurant & Steakhouse

A definite favorite. The hibachi show is fairly standard but what sets it apart is how cheerful and engaging their hibachi chefs are. The food is spectacular, but served in large portions so pace yourself and don't be shy about asking for a box - I founnd the food heats up well the next day too. If you do not feel like hibachi you can also get amazing sushi here. They'll ask you which you prefer. If you do hibachi you can still order sushi, but if you choose sushi you cannot order hibachi, so keep that in mind. Lunch prices are a bit lower and the portions slightly less, if you are worried about price, and they often have coupons in the paper.

Fantastic food! The cook and waitress were amazing. This was my first visit and I will be going back even though it's 30 minutes away from home. Well worth it. Thanks!

This is probably the best restaurant in city of Jackson. The fifth Star I gave this place is because I dine here regularly they almost never make a mistake and if they do they make it right. I've never had a bad experience here

I just love it! Our server Derek was outstanding in his service and the food was perfect. It was my special evening out and I wanted Ichiban for dinner because they are my "number one" favorite place to eat! Love you all, Val

Came in for my first visit ever to an Ichiban to celebrate my best friend closing on her first house last Thursday. We came in about an hour and fifteen minutes before they closed and they still made it an incredible experience. The server was very funny and fast and the chef was very funny and cooked the food to perfection. Definitely recommend.
