“First time at this location that I recall. Arrived sometime around 3pm. Empty and they looked prepared for business. Waitress very friendly and accommodating as she tried to change station on TV to college baseball (I asked for). She tried and also suggested to change seating area but we liked where we were seated. Food and drinks were provided as ordered. More patrons and staff arrived as we ate. Other staff were very friendly and always asked if they could get us anything else. Very satisfied!”

“We went there today for the first time. Had a burger and home fries. The meat is ground fresh on site and you can sure tell. Big and so delicious!!! The fries are also made fresh. Not those lifeless, tasteless, frozen fries you get at other diners. Service was great too! In short, this place is awesome. The food was very impressive. Almost forgot: ketchup is homemade. The best ketchup I've ever tasted. And, the pickles seem homemade too.”

We came in for drinks and appetizers last friday and the drink specials were long island ice teas and bud light lime. SERIOUSLY?? Who is their target market, 24 year old, white girls? Some of the dishes are delicious and well prepared, many are just average, at best. For the most part, the food isn't remarkable. This area has an abundance of excellent musicians / bands and they typically have no name bad bands playing terrible covers. The only reason i gave it a 3 is that the location and deck over the water are both great. Good place for a beer on the deck on a summer evening.”

“I've always liked the Beach Bar, as you probably already know, they have the best tomato soup you can get. A big bowl of it is $5.00 and so worth it. I've had the Cranberry Walnut Turkey sandwich and it's very very good. Prices here are moderate, not cheap but not expensive. I've had their pizza and was pretty unimpressed, it wasn't very good the one time I had it. And when my wife and I visited on a sunny June day in the afternoon, we went outside and sat down, and a server told us politely they don't take orders from the patio, but we could order to go and go outside to eat. We went inside, that was a weird situation but oh well. Always clean, always busy, usually great food. Glad to have them in the area.”

“It's a great place to get a quick meal, but if you're a newbie at ordering all the fixings on your subs as i used to be, i would suggest whether you ask for a regular subway bun or flat bread, always put a layer of your favorite cheese and meat on it then have them toast it in the microwave to melt the cheese .and then proceeded to have them put your favorite vegetables and condiments afterwards... I know it sounds simple but some of the new workers don't always tell you about toasting to melt the cheese first before adding the rest of the ingredients... Believe me the sandwich doesn't taste as good with unmelted cheese.”
