Bomba's BBQ

I can't deny the awesomeness that is Bomba's. I've tried a few items from them since they've opened. The ribs, steak burrito, cole slaw, and beans were to die for. I'm definitely looking forward to try more.

Food is so good. You should make it so the card machine takes tips. I want to tip on the wonderful food and service.

Will give it 5 stars when I can leave a tip on the credit card machine.

Checked out the new brick and mortar location on Portage Road tonight. This is the St. Louis rib dinner, which comes with two sides. The mac and cheese is excellent, and the fries were good but could have been in the fryer a bit longer. You can get your ribs dry, spicy, or sweet, and I liked the tang of the sweet sauce. We could easily pull the bones out, the meat was that tender. They smoke on-site, and you can taste that in the meat. I'm planning to return for the brisket next time!

Excellent food. I've been to this location twice. The first time I went with some friends for lunch. The pulled pork sandwich was fantastic, with lots of meat, tangy sauce and hand cut fries. Everyone raved about the food. On my second visit, I tried the nachos platter with pulled chicken. Very tasty. Highly recommended. I'll be going back there often.

Bomba's is legendary for good reason: They make the best BBQ *anything*. The brisket is incredible, the pulled pork is amazing, and of course their award-winning ribs are mind-blowing. I'm especially impressed with their side dishes, namely collard greens or the jalapeno mac&cheese. You really can't go wrong with anything you order from these guys (I don't even have time to talk about how delicious the tacos are).
