I was at the new location on Tuesday and had a NB double. It was so so yummy I decided to go back on Thursday to try the chicken sando. Wow! It was so fresh and I could tell it was made to order. And those fries... I can’t stop thinking about them. Now for the decor, has anyone seen a cooler place in Kalamazoo? The murals, the wall of “Life,” the retro floors and even the bathrooms are unique! It all comes together. Nonla Burger on Drake serves delicious food in a charming atmosphere. I will be back...soon!!!

First of all, the atmosphere is quite possibly the coolest in Kalamazoo! It’s worth a trip in to see the super cool painted floor and custom murals... I especially love the ‘Handy’ wallpaper in the hallway back to the bathrooms.???? The staff is SUPER friendly which makes such a huge impression when a place is brand new and finding their groove. But most importantly, the burgers are awesome!!! A single is enough of a meal for me but they have a double if you need a bit more meat on your bun. Ask for you burger and fries ‘Nonla way’ for a real taste explosion! My kids beg me to take them here all the time... we have found that late afternoon right after school is a great time for an early dinner before they get busy with the dinner rush. We love the convenience of the new location!!! Nice job Nonla folks...you’ve hit it out of the park again????

We love your new location! Really appreciate the gluten free options. Burgers are fresh and super flavorful! Chicken sando is always a favorite, tastes like fresh chicken, not processed.
    Staff was fun and upbeat!!!

Quick, simple, and DELICIOUS. Kid approved. The perfect stop after a grocery run to TJs or Costco. Lettuce wraps for the GF/wheat averse folks (prob not true allergy friendly but works for us). All the food pictured here plus a salad came to $25.

Daily shakes (one flavor a day) and specials are awesome as well (Brussels pictured were today’s food special not a normal menu item...if you head on in you’ll be surprised with another drool-worthy option I’m sure).

    All around YUM!

Came on opening day. It was crowded as expected but overall, great vibe and cute decor inside! Seating is basically shared, but we decided we'd grab it to-go to circumvent the seating requirements. We ordered two burger combos and the milkshake of the day (vanilla) and waited. We originally sat at a 4 top, but didn't want to get in the way for anyone who was planning to eat in so we went to sit on the chairs by the door, which got a bit confusing because people walking in thought we were in line so we had to keep letting folks know that we were just waiting.

We waited for about 30 minutes, finished the milkshake (the vanilla milkshake was pretty good- nothing special, but a decent milkshake), and noticed that folks who had ordered way after us were getting their orders before us. We asked one of the servers what was going on and she went back to check immediately. Came back out, and confirmed that they did not have our order. We're not sure exactly what happened, it looked like everyone else was getting their orders, but she let us know they had put in an order for us asap.

She came back with our order, apologized for the mix-up, and gave us a gift card as part of apology. We left with our food and agreed that it was a really good burger and a lot of fries!

We'll be back again at some point because the food is good and the service was overall great even with the mistake! We'll be back when hopefully the rush of opening day starts to die down a little bit. Really appreciated how quickly the issue was resolved once we brought it up, but it's unfortunate that they way the orders come out (just someone calling your name) meant it took us that long to finally realize that something must have been wrong.

Will update this and stars based on our next experience :)
