“I’m from FL, I was desperate to find some sweet tea because I had not had any since I got to MI. None of the surrounding major fast food chains had sweet tea. Thankfully Dorcas saved my day and filled my craving. She was as sweet as my tea! She made great convo, she was so funny, and VERY helpful. She made my experience amazing. I’ve never been so impressed by the service from a Starbucks, even back home in FL. When we come back to MI we will be sure to stop by and visit this Starbucks. And hopefully we will get to see Dorcas too!”

“First of all, the atmosphere is quite possibly the coolest in Kalamazoo! It’s worth a trip in to see the super cool painted floor and custom murals... I especially love the ‘Handy’ wallpaper in the hallway back to the bathrooms.???? The staff is SUPER friendly which makes such a huge impression when a place is brand new and finding their groove. But most importantly, the burgers are awesome!!! A single is enough of a meal for me but they have a double if you need a bit more meat on your bun. Ask for you burger and fries ‘Nonla way’ for a real taste explosion! My kids beg me to take them here all the time... we have found that late afternoon right after school is a great time for an early dinner before they get busy with the dinner rush. We love the convenience of the new location!!! Nice job Nonla folks...you’ve hit it out of the park again????”

Open, bright, fresh and clean, and there is a fireplace in the middle of the restaurant - also, there are lots of windows and some original artwork on the walls. Caring, attentive and responsive service. And their excellent sauerkraut is "no wimpy sauerkraut"! I did not have any idea what to expect and was pleasantly surprised! I am already planning my next visit to Chau Haus with a friend next week!”

“Let’s get right to it — this is probably some of the best pizza you’ll find in Kalamazoo. Pizza Katerina keeps things simple, only selling New York style pizza and fresh bread. The pizza sauce is filled with flavor, the dough is outstanding, and the pepperoni is unbelievably good. Price-wise, it’s cheaper than getting something like Domino’s. “This is a great extension of the small restaurant located in Crossroads Mall in Portage, MI. The menu includes the classics we are used to and is expanded to add more options! The kids menu has good options and is affordable. The service was very good and it was very clean. The food came out quickly, was accurate to our order, and was very very good! “It was our first time here. I thought it was a great pizza place. The staff helped us with questions and explained how the process worked. I had "build your own" pizza. My husband had the Maddog pizza. The choices of toppings were amazing. Roasted garlic, roasted pineapple, roasted broccoli, red onion, it was very delicious. The restaurant was very clean and the condiments were well stocked. The flow of the restaurant was good and we didn't have to wait very long for our pizza. I would definitely recommend Mod Pizza and will go again. Thank you for a great experience and a great pizza. ????”

Large, almost overwhelming menu - especially for those who might not know what they like in Chinese cooking. “We stopped in for lunch about four months ago. This is not a place to take a senior citizen who needs time to process the menu. Know what you want before you get to the counter. Finding a seat is every man for themselves. They're very popular, I get that. The burgers were very good, but there's a high likelihood you won't get cheese on your cheeseburger. Not worth taking it back. On the other hand, every burger seems to be a double burger. Not all bad. As I recall, the fries were okay; you really get your money's worth of those. In the midst of say lunchtime rush, the restaurant gets a little messy but not revolting. For my husband, mom and me, the bill came to over $39.00. For burgers and fries, that price is crazy. We won't be back.”

“I loved their downtown Kalamazoo location. This one is even closer to the main hub by US-131. Same expertly done slow smoked meats. The brisket and pulled pork don't need any sauce at all, but they have excellent sauces that should at least be tried. Their sides are solid too. Get in here and see what all the fuss is about. Pro tip: There is a Five Guy's right next door. Get a little crazy, grab a 1/3 lb of pulled pork to go from Kelvin and Co, and slap it on a Five Guy's burger. Prepare for the meatiest food coma and one heck of a satisfying bite!”

“Holy Smokey Goodness!!! Every great smokehouse and BBQ joint can be found in a small little mom and pop's shop. Really impressive smoke flavor and depth. The sauces are tasty. The brisket is melt in your mouth tender, the pulled pork is juicy and the smoked chicken wings are something every wing lover should try. The best smokehouse I have had this far north.
