My wife and I have been eating here since we moved into this area in the year 2000. Just about everything we had in our lives when we first moved to this area started at this bar. The food has never been anything less than excellent. We have dinner with many of the life long friends we’ve made here on a regular basis. This has been and always will be one of my favorite places to eat and drink in the area.
We just had the most fantastic salmon dinner at Vitale's. We have eaten a lot of salmon in many different restaurants around the US and this is, bar none, the best we have ever eaten. It was grilled to perfection; the tiny diced tomato butter sauce was delicious; the roasted potatoes flavored just right. We are visiting in this area, but you can be sure we will be back the next time that we are back. Congratulations to the Chef and the entire staff that are warm and welcoming ! You made our day! Thanks so mjuch!
Would have appreciated the waiter being just a pinch more attentive. My wife's vegetarian sub was ordered with lettuce and tomato and it must have been out of stock in the kitchen. Music was set above conversation level. Burger was superb as were the other two dinners our guests had. We will be back.
This was my first time actually stopping and dining here for lunch. It’s conveniently located west of 131 on West River Dr. They have a fantastic lunch buffet as well as a nice dinner in a casual setting. The buffet was always stocked and the food was hot. Try anything on the menu, you probably wont be disappointed. I personally got a pizza to share, a 12” perfect size and it was one of the better pizzas I’ve had in West Michigan. They offer dine in, carry out, or delivery.
The service was great and the atmosphere was a good mixture of a sports bar and yet fine food served. The acoustics allowed for table conversations even though music and conversations happening all around. The shrimp was overcooked on the pasta dish which is common for pasta dishes, but always hopeful that a place can get it right. The rest of the food was amazing, appetizers, soup, and dessert. The flavors of the shrimp pasta meet expectations.
