Gravity Taphouse Grille

The patio space is great! The music was very entertaining. The menu is interesting. Good food tonight. The staff is so busy socializing with each other, it's a challenge. The live music was the redeeming quality this visit.

Great location, ample parking, servers were nice and quick about delivery, and the food was delish. I didn't give them 5 stars as this was the second time we had a happy hr there and reserved table but wouldn't be seated until certain number of our party showed. Mind you both times the place was close to empty and at 4 pm on a work day. I would agree with that ruling after 5pm.

It has an industrial feel to it. Dimly lit but comfortable. The food and atmosphere were great. I had the Cowboy burger and it was delicious. It is a huge burger so come hungry if you plan to order it. Gravity is on the Beltline, close to the 96 expressway on/off ramps , making it easy to get to.

Food is good. Great selection of beer. Nice happy hour. Enjoyed the variety of tacos. Also had the generous nachos. The hostess process was a bit rigid, to the point of feeling unwelcoming both nights I was there this week. Both times we eventually got seated, but seemed like a lot a rules for evenings when it wasn't busy. (Needed to wait until group was there to be seated even when not busy, implied we needed a reservation, sat at a different place because we were early for trivia only to be moved a 1/2 hour later. It all seemed a bit strange).

Great selection of local Michigan beers. Good food. The Pad Thai was great. The atmosphere was very nice. Not too loud, but enough background noise to enjoy a good conversation. Will be returning soon!
