Really great atmosphere and the sour beers on tap are amazing. It was a little hard being a picky eater finding something on the menu. I did find one sandwich that met my millennial picky needs, it was the bomb. Will definitely go back for the beer, not so much to eat.
Pretty good spot for what it is. Most of what they offer are sour, wilds, farmhouse, saison..which for some is an acquired taste. JP have been in the game for a long time, so are good at what they do. North Peak brewing is also offered, for those who want more of the standard craft beer offerings. I'm not that big a fan of NP beers
Food-wise, its mainly pizza and other bar food-type offerings. The pizza is decent, i would definitely try some of their other creation. The food is probably in the top 20% of similar types of places in the GR area. Definitely recommend stopping in to try if you haven't visited a JP before
Great service and great beer. I am not a huge sour fan and this place may have changed my mind. I have had Jolly Pumpkin beer before but not here. Loved all of the different and eclectic brews. We did not get food, but it looked great!
One of my favorite places! The staff is so friendly and kind, the sour beers are awesome, & their food in incredible. I have a dairy allergy and their dairy-free cheese is awesome & would definitely recommend. We had it on the 'South Pacific' pizza and it was so flavorful. Prior to knowing about my dairy allergy, I also got an order of nachos and it was one of my favorite things on the menu, but honestly everything I have tried here is great. :)
Good location, nice setup.
Plenty of seating and nice L-shaped bar. Staff allows and patrons use the side (emergency exit) door by the bar and the cold air rushes over everyone sitting at the bar and close tables. The management and staff should be more clear and firm about that door, we know most people only think about themselves.
Beers and sours offerings are extensive and very good. North Peak beers are outstanding in my opinion.
I had the fried chicken sandwich, and this was very good (nicely spiced) but the chicken was about a third smaller than the bun. Curry chips were tasty. There were many other offerings that I will be back to try.
